Nestled atop a hill overlooking the majestic Mission Bay, the University of San Diego (USD) is located in a safe urban area, close to business, cultural, residential, and recreational areas.
At the university, you will find a values-based education for all students in its Colleges and Schools. The University is comprised of five academic units: the College of Arts & Sciences and the Schools of Nursing and Health Science, Business Administration, Law, and Education. USD offers over 75 undergraduate majors, pre-professional studies, graduate programs, education credentials, and certification and career development programs.
USD attracts students from all over the globe and supports these students through the Office of International Services and the International Programs Office, which provide academic and personal support. Students who meet the criteria established by the University of San Diego may be admitted into some regular university courses with approval from ELA and the appropriate university department. As you study at the ELA to prepare for university work, you will enjoy the same privileges as USD students, including access to libraries, cafeterias, coffee house, campus bookstore, and student sports activities and clubs.
